15:09 Chadwick Boseman also said prior to his passing he would like to see the character recast.

While The Eternals didn't click I'd argue that Chloe Zhao would have a good director for Thor: The God Butche. Especially as a story that focuses on loneliness, loss of faith, and the responsibility of being a God.

I feel a type of way about cutting Ms. Marvel and She Hulk. She Hulk I'd introduce in a movie, but Ms. Marvel deserved her own show or movie. It just deserved to be better.

I have a general idea for what I would've liked to see for the back half of Phase 3 and all of Phase 4, but it's more of a restructure than a full on rewrite. Phase 4 would essentially be an "epilogue phase" that wraps up any remaining character arcs from the last saga while sprinkling in new characters like John Walker, Yelena Belova, Eric O' Grady, Walter Newell, and Charles Barton in previous projects, then putting them together in a Dark Avengers film (along with other villains like Abomination) that closes out the phase, where they have to take down Sentry.

Phase 5 onward would then start building solo franchises like Shang-Chi and Ms. Marvel, while establishing teams like the Fantastic Four and the Young Avengers, and slowly reintroduce the legacy characters like the old X-Men, Inhumans, and more of the Netflix characters.

I think Dr. Strange as part of the Defenders is a bit weird. There would be no stakes, Kingpin would just lose immediately

Please post more gng

Doctor Strange in a defenders film with just street-level characters against a big bad street-level Villain is a bit odd to Me, would care for an explanation for why He would fit in that sort of film.

Implicitly Pretentious reviewed Justice League Action and it reminded me that these bite-sized shows are what I think the MCU and DCU should utilize more of. I’d love an animated short series that’s just watching various characters interact between shows and movies. Especially since it’s taking Marvel forever to reintroduce Shang Chi or The Young Avengers or Champions, whatever they’re called in the comics, in the Sacred Timeline and not just multiverse shows.

Love Marvel but man phase 4-5 was a mess. Hope after Secret Wars The quality of movies matches phases 3 and 6.

Quantumania should have been an Avengers movie with them dealing with the fall out of TIme Travel and Kang being the main villain. Now yeah it would have to be better written but still. Scecret Invasion could be the 6th movie in phase 5 as an avengers movie to build it up even more than Doom after a trilogy of Fantastic Four films dealing with smaller lesser known villains and Doctor Doom like Red Ghost and Mole Man who i would have personally used for Fantastic Four 1 at least

Correction: Chris Evans apparently is returning as Dude with Hammer

I also would have done a Ultimates multiverse film. Setting both Fantastic Four and Ultimate's in 2 different universes. I would replace eternals with the Ultimates doing a 2 part film series with Pedro playing Tony Stark rather than Reed as that fits him more imo

One thing I would’ve loved to have done more with in terms of Kang is playing into the time travel element. Like seeing the characters events in the wrong order. It would be hard to do as you have to already know where Kang is going from the start and general audiences would probably get very confused but I like the idea of rather having hundreds of undeveloped kangs we get one strongly developed character.
For example, having a grown up Kang in quantumania killed Scott lang and maybe hinting at some sort of friendship between him and cassie and then have a young avengers film later on showing Kangs younger self (Iron Lad) developing a relationship with cassie and not knowing that he killed he father in his future.

(It would be confusing as hell but I’d imagine would converge all to The Kang Dynasty - maybe have the Scarlet Centurion persona be when he discovers his actions create branching timelines and have him train with Doctor Doom. Maybe have He Who Remains/Immortus be Kang at the end of his life after the events of Kang Dynasty, which we as an audience haven’t seen yet. Have each version crossing over or helping each other out Ouroburos/bootstrap paradox style.)

Really cool seeing you do more Marvel videos since for the longest time you've exclusively done videos centered on DC so this is very refreshing.
Frankly I really feel like a lot of the projects that came out in Phase 4-5 should've been reworked as I feel like a lot of the shows we got should've been released as movies and there are movies that should've been released as TV shows, such as Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Secret Invasion should've been movies (Secret Invasion should've especially been an Avengers movie that established a new roster of the Avengers). Furthermore movies like The Eternal's should've been reworked as a TV series since I think the movie had a lot of interesting and compelling themes that had potential however it wasn't executed to the fullest potential as it didn't have time to flesh out all the characters which is why I think making it into a TV series would've worked so much better

Is this a marvel video from Nick Hippo 😱

3:23 Think you forgot to mention this, but change Taskmaster to Tony Masters

Great video, pleased to see you talking about Marvel!
I’d move Thunderbolts to phase 4 as the final project as the Avengers type event (I’m sure it would perform better at the box office back then)

Then I’d end phase 5 with Dark Avengers, taking ideas from Thunderbolts and Born Again - we see government funded vigilantes masquerading as heroes while Sam’s Avengers are the unofficial team (like the comic new Avengers). This would be a smaller scale story fighting for the future of team rather than to save the world and will establish Sam’s Avengers ready for Doomsday. And also channel some Civil War style action with two teams fighting

Seeing an iron fist and Shang chi team up would be goated, but also I think in like the post credits of Shang chi 2, you could set up the defenders with dare devil or Dr strange going to iron fist and being like “we are forming a team”

Great idea. You’ve got one of the best superhero channels

Welcome back man yes!!!
