June 29, 2022, in a small village In Annette, located in Grayson County, Kentucky, 28-year-old Orby Wilson called 911. He reported that his 23-year-old wife had committed suicide while he was playing in the yard with his children. He was clearly in shock and unsure what to do. Police officers arrived at the scene and questioned Orby, trying to learn more about the events leading up to these tragic events.
Orby and Lexus had been together for six years. Lexus was only 16 when they met. Incidentally, those six years were quite productive. The couple raised four children, ages 1 to 5. They lived modestly, mostly on welfare and a pension they received due to their health.
They seemed like an ordinary young family, the kind found in tens of thousands in small American towns. According to neighbors, Orby and Lexus spent a lot of time with the children. Yes, they argued occasionally, but nothing criminal.
