• SOUL MATE
It wasn't marketed as BL, but there is a tag for LGBTQ+. Love, regardless of the sexes/genders of the couples, is as complex as we each are, and despite the depth of love, not all romances between two individuals are allowed, by those individuals, to mature into its full romantic expression. They kept returning to each other, like binary stars, because of the love. I understand this type of love. Unlike them, I chose to walk away from my soul mate, because I realized that our lives were headed in different directions. I didn't want the path they chose, and it felt wrong it try and pull him on to mine. I wouldn't even allow myself to kiss him, even though we both desperately wanted to, because I knew I would never want to leave his side, if I did.
• LOVE OF SILOM
I dropped this after 4 episodes. I don't know why, but I completely lost interest in it.
• PAYBACK
Enjoyed it. Close enough to the manhwa, yet uniquely Thai.
9.5 out of 10.
• A WINTER SUN WAKES THE WIND IN SPRING HILLS' DREAM
Spectacular. No notes.
The only series, in 2026, that I gave a 10 out of 10.
• THE PROSECUTOR'S PROPOSAL
Very well executed, especially considering its smaller budget.
8.5 out of 10.
• DEEP IN
I really enjoyed this one.
9 out of 10.
• KNOT
Utterly wretched. Terrible script, awful directing.... In the end, I dropped it midway through episode 6, because no amount of try-hard NC can redeem a dumpster fire.
I gave it 1.5 out of 10 for the effort.
• BITTERSWEET LOVE
Initially dropped it, after 4 episodes, then return to complete it. It was bittersweet, in deep, but somehow the bitter pill ended up holding my attention.
7.5 out of 10.
• DOUBLE HELIX
This one was a rollercoaster of emotions and the type of red flags, on both sides of the relationship, that I would advise a friend to run far away from; yet, I loved it.
9 out of 10.
• EDGE OF HORIZON
Beautiful love story with points for being educational, a wonderful OST, and great acting.
9 out of 10.
• DON'T BE TOO EMOTIONAL
Dropped this after episode 8. A. It wasn't what the pilot sold it to be and the constant "I trust you, now I don't trust you" grew tiresome.
• TICKET TO HEAVEN
Short, heavy, and sweet, with wonderful acting, direction, cinematography, and a very well-written script. The actor, Gemini, is growing into one of my favorite Thai actors.
9.5 out of 10.
