once a Modder makes a 'university enrolled' requirement for renters it'll be useful

I think people dislike that chandelier because it suffers from Base Game Low Poly syndrome

it would be interesting to make something like this again but make the rooms fancy and old too, like a private school or a boarding school. i’m particularly biased though cause i love this aesthetic

We should make elderly homes/appartments with the new pack

The roommate thing from University is nothing compared to the freedom of For Rent

I add the pressure cooker to my sim's dorm room therefore she can cook a bunch of meals that ain't quickmeals and my sim is happy without stoves

The layout is very sims 3 reminiscent and I love it ❤🥲

One of the things I found interesting in an old college town was the old houses built near the University. From the outside they look like the other quaint old houses but when you walked into the entrance there was a foyer with stairs that would go up to a second or sometimes third floor. Each floor was a single unit apartment with hardwood floors and old fashioned wallpaper and antique appliances.

These types of apartment style houses are actually very common in the UK for university housing! Their official name is a HMO, or house of multiple occupancy, and every tenant has a private room and a fully shared living space. They're usually just set up in old houses that were sold and renovated for cheap.

a moment of silence for those sims that are now stuck with two empty boxes 😔

I want someone to turn Vlad's mansion into a bed & breakfast.

I swear Kayla always manages to use Strangerville when she's building without restricting packs

i love how simsie uses UK sentence structure or phrases since living with dan😭 “i’ve been sat here trying to figure out which chairs to use”

I checked my phone at the perfect time

I love the chandelier that you used, i dont know why everyone hates on it so much. It looks so good in older looking buildings. Base game has some really good lights if im honest!!

I built something like this and fair warning that the door to your bedroom counts as the front door, not the front door of the lot! I had people trying to do the Welcome Wagon in my bedroom :(

This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I really want to see how Get To Rent will work when paired with Discover University!

18:50 I promise a college student would absolutely have a rug angled like that- ESPECIALLY an anime looking rug... and they'd think it's peak design, too

oh we had one shower-room for the entire dorm 😭 i don't even know how many stalls were they because i never used it. i remember that they had thin almost transparent walls and no doors that would close you. there was also an old shower-room in the basement, and that was beyond disgusting and creepy 😅 and not a lot of people used it, only the ines who wanted more privacy (though the shower stalls there also didn't have doors). so i used to drive all the way to my grandparents to shower at their home 😂

yeeees!!! I actually love the university pack <333
and living in an apartment for college is kinda of a dream
edit: living in a dorm in the other hand...
