I have great respect for Singapore for keeping this piece of heritage! A piece of treasure!

It's SO the quality of the staff that makes these places what they are. Honestly, look after your staff and your establishment will flourish. Such lovely staff that seem to genuinely care about customers that even I want to go there now!

Yes the narrator is Jim Carter , the Butler in Downton Abbey! Very correct ✅ identification of the voice!

Had the Indian buffet lunch in the Tiffin Room back in 2001.
Greatest dining experience of my life.
Excellent in every way! 👍

I think this is the hotel that Rachel and Nick stay at in the Crazy Rich Asians movie. Especially when looking at the scene of them talking in an upstairs sitting area after Araminta's bachelorette party.

We stayed at Raffles just prior to Covid lockdown Feb 28-Mar 3 2020. There were maybe a dozen guests in the hotel. We were invited to accept a triple upgrade. The central garden suite we were given came with its own butler. The rooftop swimming pool and bar only had us as visitors. It was an incredible experience. We went on a private tour of the hotel seeing inside the best suite where Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 stayed. We ate in the newly opened Japanese sushi room (just 8 covers). The various bars were staffed with lovely people. I’ll never forget the experience.

This is one of the most captivating depictions of the hotel I’ve come across. Kudos to the production team for delivering such a brilliant piece of work!

If I was a guest, I would feel so relaxed. This staff seems to be genuinely happy in their jobs and seriously proud of the place they work. I love the guy with the glasses. His attitude is so funny and personable.
