Amazing patchwork quilt of countryside.

One of the greatest pleasures in the world is the descent into any sort of airport, it's just amazing! (apart from when your children insist on sitting by the window, and then not even paying any attention to what's below them)! :)

Grew up 20 miles south of Bristol, my father was a pilot and took me for a few flights from the airport, and we flew with air cadets from there also....all in the 70s and 80s, long time ago but brings back happy memories

I have flown this route many times ..I live close to the airport and love watching the planes turn to go down into the airport when out with my dog .😊

I'm in Hampshire, but I've always enjoyed visiting Bristol.

Excellent video.

I always used to joke that Bristol airport had a “ski-jump” instead of a runway. Seeing this landing made me remember how much of a slope it does have - I wasn’t just imagining it!

I'm glad someone pointed out the airport at the beginning was Gatwick because it was frying my head thinking it was Bristol and nothing made sense with the approach 😀

Nice video and that was a nice landing into Bristol Airport and it's nice and very smooth and thanks for the video anyway and Bristol is a lovely place as well.

Smooth landing at Brizzle...

Not glazing them but I've genuinely only ever had smooth touchdowns with easyJet. Lovely scenery on approach, too. Cheers!

Thank you for this video. Great to see an area I know so well from the ground and when I'm flying. Spent the video with my Southern UK 1/2 mil chart identifying airfields and airstrips 🙂

Will be doing that exact same flight in a few weeks. Love landing at Bristol, once over the A370 you know you're there, great views as well. Good vid ! 👍

When the plan landed, I was waiting for that bum jerk😂. Every time I go on a plane, I always try and look out for my land and my house, but I can never spotted it and I still couldn’t spot it and nightmares. Love to see my land.
