2:08 This symbol she wears on her Dawn skin... it's her spine, with a sword hilt at the bottom and an exit hole at the top. It's her ultimate ability, visualized.
It's peculiar it starts off as the sacrum and extends into a rudimentary spinal column. When it's fully "extended" it reminds me of the bloodletter from bloodborne just. Porple. She gives off godskin vibes to me, as in she makes me think she's made of the same stock as whatever makes up the nobles/apostles. The fact she's an abbess adds to this. She's just very unsettling to look at despite being so beautiful but she borders on the uncanny valley. Like someone made her but didn't quite get the proportions 100%
Those scars are notably reminiscent of flagellation. Obviously there's the ultimate with her spine, but there's no way that connection was unintended.
Also, the greatspear is giving me strong greatsword of damnation vibes, which itself featured self mutilation. Not saying the undertaker is connected to the frenzied flame, but it's still pretty interesting.
