After all these years we STILL don't know if Isaac and his parents lived ontop of a hill. He could've merely imagined it!!! Maybe he lived in a FLAT, busy city!!
(Edit: This is sarcasm guys, I felt that was obvious T~T)

I feel like the picture of demon isaac ontop of his dead parents is supposed to represent how Isaac believes he ruined his parent's marriage, and how evil he is for doing so, hence why he is in the demon form.

As for why Dogma appears as formless static, it could also be that they owned a cheap antenna TV in an area with already poor reception (if we're to take Isaac by his word that they lived on a hill, which seems to be in the middle of nowhere). The broadcast would appear as muffled static until the signal came back. Isaac, being young, can't make out what's playing or what's being said due to the static, while Maggie has a better time understanding it. As for why the speaker addresses Maggie specifically, it could also be that she's already so far gone from both the drugs and the divorce that she feels a personal connection with the speaker, bolstered by the audio being muffled by the static, making it harder to make out exactly what he's saying, so she just fills in the blanks

Isaac we love you

I don't think demon Isaac is meant to represent his desire to stay in the chest, but rather his feelings regarding why he should just stay in the chest. Isaac clearly thinks that he's evil, and while the chest is part of his escape fantasies it's also a space where he is away from his family in his own world

NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE INTRO?????

This is soooo good but I really disagree with your view of demon Isaac. I think it makes much more sense that it’s Isaac’s view of himself as a being of sin from ideas planted by his mom. It makes the picture of his dead parents make more sense. He’s convinced himself that he’s evil pretty much. It feels like a better interpretation than just the side of him that wants to go in the chest

37:45 i believe blue baby is the shame, isaac knowing the shameful way he is going to die in, and the fact he knows that dead bodies release their bowels (which is why ??? is so closely tied to poop), and the lost being the worry is isaac being worried about where his soul will end up when he dies

35:55 I personally believe that, due to its way of being found - having to go out of your way to leave the Mom fight, go to a new floor, and then run back over it all... Isaac never got that note. His dad left it for him, but his mom took it and secreted it away somehow. Even its description as just "..." feels like it's something Isaac didn't plan to put in, and happened to find for the first time, being left speechless. The way Isaac saw it, his dad left without a word. He only got that note much, much later.

Or, you know, maybe I'm just stupid and there's some obvious gaping hole in that theory. I just like to believe it more than Isaac lying and dreaming it all up, it's a little bit more fun. (Great video, by the way, should you see this!)

18:50 considering all the cobwebs and bugs flying out of the chest I'd say it's rather unlikely that ending 17 represents Isaacs mom just keeping him in the chest. It's probably just more of Isaac's imagination, the state he imagines his mother will find him.

10:45 there is no way you confidently said a nickel whilst that coin has a “25” on it.

I believe the demon forms of Isaac represent both his evil view of himself and his want to go into the chest, so with this view, when Isaac transforms into his demon form in ending 13, he's essentially telling himself that he's a terrible evil sinner who should isolate himself from the outside world.

one thing i want to add is isaacs mother didnt had to imagine the entire broadcast, maybe the broadcast was real, but the fact tv was old it managed to catch static for screen but the audio may have been real, just distorted and hard to understand, where her delusions added parts that werent there

That comic in the Switch port’s physical version is a crazy pull. Also, I hope more people make theories about Mother, THE BOX and the overlaps of Isaac, Time Fcuk, TEIN and Mewgenics. There’s a whole conspiracy board there.
