I’ve somehow fallen down an ice hockey rabbit hole.

In case you were wondering... Craig Anderson’s shut out was the FIRST game he played after his wife Nicholle was diagnosed with throat cancer. Oct 2016. Hence the announcer saying “Nicholle this one is for you.” also the respect of Edmonton players and the fans shows how much we are connected. Thanks for including this in the montage. 👊

Hockey is like the biggest sibling rivalry. Gang fight one minute. Brothers the next.

Random equipment guy: "Want me to just sew the sleeves shut?"
Fleury: "Can you?"

I’ll always respect Getzlaf for pulling Stepan away from the cluster of players after he was hit from behind.

How about Cam Talbot, waiting around on the ice for Craig Anderson's introduction as a star of the game. Pure class.

They're either killing each other, or they're acting like siblings

titled "sportsmanship and lighthearted moments"
shouldve been "times hockey made grown-ass men cry"

For those wondering, Craig Anderson’s wife was diagnosed with cancer and he took a leave of absence. After Hammond sustained an injury the previous game, Anderson made the personal choice to come back and support his team when they needed him.

Hockey is the greatest game ever. You can bare fist punch a guy in the teeth one minute. But when it comes down to it there is a profound respect for one anothers well being.

I absolutely love how the opponent stayed and applauded Craig Anderson

Not the only time Komarov showed sportsmanship... he made a unintentional knee-on-knee check on a Swedish player during a Finland vs Sweden game, was thrown out of the game, but went to knock on the Swedish changing room's door to find out from team Sweden's staff if the their player was okay

The one with Craig Andersen actually made me cry, what an incredible gesture of sportsmanship from Cam Talbot. That's hockey!

9:04 Josi's first game. Honestly if I did that in my first game, never taking a slapshot again

For a sport where fighting is allowed, it's very classy

I love how flower does that normally, such class and respect. He’s like “here have a water little buddy” I once seen him play in real life and it was very interesting

4:05 absolutely melted my heart :,) I love how the Leafs player called over a ref as soon as he saw the Blue Jackets player hurt, and then stayed next to him until he got medical attention
