The best thing about Hero Quest... is seeing it always come back again and again for people.

The best thing about midwinter minis is the old school painting guides. I love to see it. ❤😊

This is my favorite kind of series from your channel. Hearing you narrate is like listening to a friend tell me how to do stuff and it's very relaxing. I always look forward to a MWM upload.

YEEEAAH BAAAYYYYBEEE! Been waiting for another MWM speedpainting series since the Blackstone Fortress ones that helped get me into miniature painting in the first place! I must have watched each of those videos 10 times, and still find a new little tip every time I do. I never even had Blackstone Fortress, I just learned so much from your tips therein; a year after starting, i was sitting atop 4 fully painted 40k armies! So, suffice to say I'm pretty hyped to see what you'll bring to the videos with a few more years of experience under your belt.

This is amazing, thank you. I've been playing boardgames for years and have great, nostalgic memories of playing the original Hero Quest, and picked up the reprint. I've just been trying painting out for the first time ever. This video series is going to be great for me. Thank you!

The Blackstone Fortress series was the reason I subscribed to your channel. I'm more than hyped to see you tackling another project like this 🔥. Keep 'em coming and cheers from Germany

Classic 3am drop for the US. Worth waking up for

Going back to the basics really makes the video feel like classic MWM. If I wasn't in a tiny apartment right now, I'd absolutely buy a copy of Hero Quest to follow along with.

ANOTHER SPEEDPAINTING PLAYLIST HERE WE COME

@codemon1352 3 years ago

The old set was my first entry into model TT games and it never occurred to me to paint them back then. Luckily I still have the whole complete set as my friends and I only played a dozen missions.
Even now I have no intent to paint the originals and keep them as that.
New tips I take away every vid Guy, thanks

Yay! Back to the basic painting technique videos! The Blackstone Fortress videos are what got me excited to get back into the hobby and try painting years back now. I don't think I've improved much since. 😀

This is perfect timing!! I just picked up Heroquest and was wanting to get it painted up!! Can't wait for the next episode!

So excited to see a new "How To" guide launching. These are by far my favorite series.

@Grog_Grog_Grog 3 years ago

I've had this box sitting untouched since Christmas, it had a massive discount and the nostalgia hooked me hard. I'm super excited to see you do a series like Blackstone Fortress again and this time I can follow along :) all hail Darren the Gobbo!

I like when you do these. When I first got back into the hobby in 2020, I followed your Blackstone Fortress series and learned a lot and now they are all painted! :)

This type of content is what hooked me to the channel you really have a knack for creating painting guides that I feel people of all skill levels can appreciate and take something away from, I can’t wait to follow through this series and would love to see you do more full box game paint guide in the future.
