Juliet is by far THE MOST HONEST, SENSIBLE AND INTELLIGENT SPEAKER ON THIS RADIO

“Ethnic” means relating to a group of people who share a cultural background or ancestry—often including a common language, history, traditions or religion.

There are some people who might forgive the Tories, but you guys are deluded if you think large numbers will, for several years yet. I was one of the people who supported the Tories in 97, when the Tory regime in it's death thores was openly grifting via people like Hamilton. I will now not ever vote for them again, even if LGH were to take over the leadership - they are dead to me. The question is how many people who formerly supported them for decades like me but now won't, are there?

I'm of Indian descent, and have been in England for over five decades, and I've always considered myself here on sufferance and it's through a privilege granted by the people who were already in the country.

It is completely obvious to me, not just Braverman but the alt right like the Lotus Eater crowd, are simply right. You may not like that answer, but you're gonna like the consequences of resisting that truth even less.

One of the largest immigrations to England were the Huguenots, French Protestants, in the late17th century.

Uk used to be, but is nowadays only a proud but a marginal country internationally.

The funny thing is that none of these three people are English and so have different ideas what being English is. But they are looking in from the outside.

No labour and conservative partys are squandering the uk inheritance.

I thought Britain created the state of Israel so perhaps that's why we were "singled" out.

I'm Eastern European my husband 75% English 25% New Zealand my kids both born in England -are they British (enough)? Can anyone tell please?
I think more important is how much the person wants to assimilate to this culture other than bringing their own one.

Kemi dodging the English debate, because she's anchor baby and if she had been born the UK one year later would not be British.

16:01  born and bred here, but also had racist remarks makes a person feel as if they are not really English

Though there is a difference between (as kids) pointing out a difference and having malintentions (which is the real definition of isms)

Torys are new labour ```````vote reform❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Ignore the voters of Reform and Restore and you are doing exactly what's got us to this point.

Until illegal migration is completely stopped things will continue to escalate.

Illegal migration touches every area of our society, the NHS, wages, house prices, crime, sexual assault, social services, schooling........

Yes it's not the main issue with our country but we can deal with multiple issues at the same time.

Can we please stop repressing the fact that there is such a thing as English ethnicity? It is literally in the government's official list of ethnic group choices for the Census. Giving ethnic minority people the impression they don't belong in English society is wrong. Describing someone as ethnically English or not ethnically English isn't. This shouldn't be hard. What we are effectively doing is telling millions of people they need to be in denial about their own ethnicity in case it makes others feel uncomfortable. Do you see why that causes tension and adds to the sense of insecurity Juliet was describing? It's unenlightened and it needs to change.

I was born and bred in UK to Irish parents. I am not English and have no desire to be English. I am Irish and the British passport is a convenience but I travel on my Irish passport. Each to their own - accordinf to Hugo I'm weird. Sobeit. Erin go bragh.

Painful to watch!

No one would dare  call Pakistan a racist state, therefore,
a policy that France, Spain, UK and Germany can emulate to stop out of control illegal migration is Pakistan’s primary internal deportation policy, Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Plan (IFRP), launched in late 2023 and intensified through successive phases targeting undocumented migrants, Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders, and visa overstayers.

Total Returns/Deportations: Since the inception of the IFRP in late 2023, over 2 million to 2.5 millionAfghan nationals have returned to or been forced out of Pakistan.

[MASS MIGRATION DESTROYS A COUNTRY’S HOUSING MARKET AND WELFARE STATE]

xxxxxx zzzzzz /////::///::///::://

YOU CAN’T AFFORD MASS MIGRATION IF YOU ARE A WELFARE STATE LIKE UK, SPAIN,GERMANY AND FRANCE BECAUSE IT  MAKES HOUSING AND WELFARE UNAFFORDABLE…stupid.

Why can't you be more imaginative.  What about the swiss system and a great deal more e-democracy. Let's push democracy down to the demos. Perhaps the other side of the 4th turning.

Is she an Android?
