Love this British Gentleman and his advice, I've been watching this for a while and also love the mic scratching sounds (and I'm happy that the shop seems to exist, still). By the way I've recently created an audiobook version of my free book, it took me a while so I'd be happy if you checked it out: https://findcalm.com/book

There is nothing better that listening to passionate experts in their trade.

This guy should be narrating documentaries

When you have some money, two of the most important things to invest in are a good mattress and a good pair of shoes, because if you're not in one you're in the other.

9:03 - “When you’ve got over the cost of anything that you purchase, the joy of using it goes on.”

In retrospect I'd experience ASMR as a child listening to older people talk about things they were passionate about.

I'm a former salesman and this gentleman just sold me at least 4 pair of shoes with this video. :D

I had an argument with a leather shoe salesman in Camden, London once. Zero tingles during that exchange.

This is how I learn about random things. 1AM on a Thursday, learning about dress shoes.

It's great that stores like this still exist, it almost a lost art.

SO refreshing to see someone who actually gives a shit about something and knows what they're talking about...

This British Salesman is all class and all skill. So nice to hear both an artisan (Cordwainer) and a salesman weave together his skills and knowledge. Note that he is directing the young man into the best type of shoe for him not just out of trying to sell him a more expensive shoe but trying to sell him the shoe that is right for him. That is the mark of a true Professional.

I’m a podiatrist my job would be much easier if shoe shops had more people like this working for them

I can only imagine what the inside of that shop smells like. Must be heaven

I love how the old people speak English.. They are so organized when speaking and so calming.

Despite the fact that a pair of shoes from them is about the same price I usually pay for a second hand car, firms like this represent a portion of old England there isn't much left of and this man is a blessing. Long may it continue

Great to see Martin still in the business. Having worked alongside him on many occasions. A gentleman in every way. Keep it going.

I loved how the only time he slipped up was mentioning the web address, this guy is a dying breed unfortunately.....

This gentleman knows  how to  sell a pair of high quality shoes!

If I went into a shoe shop and got this level of customer service, I wouldn't even ask how much they will cost!
