Impressed that “12 piece” actually meant 12 picks, instead of 9 picks plus a case plus a package plus a cardboard shipping box.

I actually have a this exact kit, and used the clear lock to learn the basics of how to rake. Two years later I had a tenant rekey every door in his rental and then split without giving me the new keys... picked every single one with this kit. Took me about an hour total but I learned enough to get it done in the real world!

You picked that lock like you were annoyed of it’s weak existence 😂

reviews expensive locks „they are trash and so easy to unlock“

reviews cheap tools „its ok because I still can unlock expensive locks with it“

I bet he picks the lock to his own house every time he gets home

"Price point is the key here..."
Was that an intentional pun?

Welcome to the thieves guild

I kind of favor the cheap, startup set. That way, when one finally breaks, you know which you use the most and can spend more on replacing it with something better. The ones you end up with undamaged are obviously not as useful.

I wanna get into lock picking with the intention of moving up to auto theft, house breaking and finally white collar crime if I'm sufficiently talented.

The pause after he picks the lock then clears his throat... I could hear the boredom in silence lol

This guy doesn't even have ads in his videos. And that's amazing

Just bought them, thank you for the reference, and for the sandpapering tip.
* Please consider giving us newbies a summary showing what each pick is good for and it's proper use. Cheers.

he should do a bobby pin challenge or something

"probably like a hundred locks in the review process"
Oh, they only paid you for 30 minutes huh?

"We need picking in every video" I was getting worried because I thought there wasn't going to be any :P

Lockpicking Lawyer has legitimately the funniest and least hostile comment section on YT. I actually enjoy it.

i just got this as my first pick set. im trying to pick everything in sight lol

“Went through a ton of locks”

Literally picked 2000 lbs of locks

I am a Facility Manager at a 50,000 sq ft day shelter for the homeless in my local community.  We have lots of locks and my predecessors didn't leave me much of a discernible system of tracking which doors use which keys or pad lock combination charts.  I've been flying by the seat of my pants for some time now.  This job is specifically how I found your channel.  I've watched several of your videos and found you to be a very valuable resource.  I have my own key cutter up and running now, I have a cheap stamping kit to label keys with, and I just received my first lock pick kit.  It isn't the one you review in this video but it is similar.  I've fumbled around with the practice locks for about a week but yesterday I had the need to use my newly obtained tools and freshman skills.  It felt pretty cool being able to open a door without the key.  Thank you for all the tutorials.
