Bonnets in public is GHETTO! We black ladies have to present ourselves better! We are too good for that!!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks bonnets and crocs are ONLY for the house.

i used to only wear a bonnet and crocs if i wasnt getting out of the car and only going through the drive through for food. one day i wore it and i got in a little traffic accident and had to step out the car with my bonnet and crocs on in front of everybody passing by 😭 never again!!!! trade the crocs for sandals and put on a hat if your hair isn’t done!

As a BW, I'm so fnking tired of slides, bonnets, Crocs, and PJs out in public no matter who has it on.

Bonnets should be banned from outside

I’ve never owned a croc and don’t plan to. They are U.G.L.Y. to me. It’s sad we are still conversing about Bonnets. Monique already told us it was a NO. 😂

We as people have to stop fighting to look ghetto in public. Is it hard to keep the bonnets and crocs in the house?!

I can't believe I'm saying this but I now agree  most of the time they do look ratchet.

I've never worn Crocs and I definitely do not wear a bonnet outside of my home.

That last woman seemed so hurt like on the verge of tears. Poor thing, if you like crocs do you.

The message is keep the body good and they don’t care about anything else. And we already know this😅

Crocs & bonnets in public are just dirty lmao idc what y’all say. If my father saw me in either, I guarantee that’d be the last time  lmaooo and I’m 36.

That first girl was upset because the man said if the woman has a good looking body, the bonnet doesn't matter, whether you agree or not, this is true across all areas

Ladies, "presentable" and "fashionable" are very subjective. If you are someone who loves her crocs, wear them!

We should appreciate the honesty. We can’t want to be desired and reject doing what makes us desirable at the same time. Are we really fighting to wear house slippers outside?

This is such a stupid conversation. Simply because you don’t like crocs doesn’t mean your arbitrary rules should be the standard for everyone. Crocs were not made to be house shoes. There’s nothing wrong with crocs. If you want to wear them, wear them. Just don’t wear them for a date and/or evening out etc.

Also, people have been wearing crocs for two decades. It seems that now that black people wear them, they’re synonymous with ratchet & ghetto. Ridiculous.

I work at a financial brokerage firm, 99% of our clients are millionaires, along with many of the people that work there. I guarantee you these type of reductive conversations aren’t happening. Many of our clients  couldn’t care less about something so dumb. When “we” get a little money, we find all these stupid reasons to separate ourselves & look down on others.

I love how bm dangle marriage. The entire worlds knows what’s up with that carrot.

Silly argument. Just make sure you look decent wherever you go. What's so hard about that? Simply as a grown woman, I never leave my house looking subpar. I will always take time to do my hair and put on a little powder. Nothing too difficult!

Only time I ever wore a bonnet out of the house was when I was depressed. Alot of people are depressed and don't like themselves fr

Kitten heals, ballet flats, & loafers are for errands & after wearing heels for a period of time.
Sneakers & boots are for physical activities.
Flip flops, sandals, slides, & crocs are for water parks, pools, beaches, etc.
