The Story of Kim Jong-Il and Mao Zedong | Full Documentary | Evolution Of Evil

criminals and crime fighters

In this episode all eyes are on these two men: Kim Jong-il and Mao Zedong

He's a man born into power. He tortures and executes hundreds of thousands of his own people with his finger held closely to the button. It's North Korea's Kim Jong-Il.
A man with insatiable desire for power and fame. A man raised to be a dictator. A man who let his people suffer while he lives the high life with imported women, booze and the worlds finest foods.

On the other side: Supreme Leader of China for almost 3 decades, his merciless policies made him one of the most ruthless tyrants of the 20th Century. A communist leader obsessed by power and violence, a sadist intoxicated by others' pain; and a dictator convinced that politics had to be violent. He presided over the deaths of more people than Hitler and Stalin combined. The Chinese Chairman Mao Zedong.

"North Korea has its founding father who's died and gone to heaven." Died? Yes. Gone to heaven? Well...

It's scary that you don't need to be raised in horrible circumstances for evil to arise within.

'cyanide pills hidden in cigarettes'

Jesus Christ, he really DID watch far too many Bond films 🤦🏼
His decision making skills to get his own way is beyond delusional. Guy was a straight up psychopath, in every single way of the medical definition.

This lesson is for all of us :
All of us evil, nothing that come out of ourself that is not. But through empathy and care, love and kindness, we can avoid such thing to happen to us, our neighbour, or our country

What these dictators all seem to forget is that we’re all only visitors here for a short time but eternity is FOREVER !

This documentary failed to mention a few things. In '94 Pres. Clinton sent Jimmy Carter to meet with the old man Kim II-Sung to sign the Agreed Frame Work Act. The agreement actually worked well for N. Korean, they built rail lines to the south, suspended missile testing, received humanitarian aid from the U.S. until Pres. Bush welched on the bet in the early 2000s. Ironically Kim II-Sung was baptized as a Presbyterian and had a Christian reform upbringing, his grandfather was a Presbyterian minister. The Soviets had very little to do with N. Korean. Khrushev in particular hated Mao and even stormed out on a meeting with Mao.

The dramatic tone of the words and music really helps to drive home the message of evil and the use of “…is and was…” is so effective at educating viewers of the continuing issues.

I understand how the mentality of the N.Korea' people being just totally blown away IF the country ever broke away from this dictatorship but at the same time....could you even imagine liberating those people?
