In this walk, we explore the full length of the High Street, lined with centuries-old buildings, traditional coaching inns, and independent shops. Old Amersham was once a key stop on the London to Oxford coaching route, and many of its historic inns still feature the original coach arches leading into hidden courtyards which make it a perfect filming location for many well-known series and films.

Along the way, we visit the iconic Amersham Market Hall, take a look inside St Mary's Church, Old Amersham, and discover the fascinating former Weller's Brewery, built right across the River Misbourne.

We also pass through the peaceful memorial gardens and spot some unexpected wildlife along the way.
