I remember when I first found J. Period he was giving out his projects for free. I had everything it got me through a couple years without wanting new music. He had hit all the right notes when it came to engraving good music into the brain. I didn't want anything else up to 2018 when I lost everything. He was the first person I searched for along with Amerigo Gazaway. He added way more content. This man is unforgettable his style is impeccable. I will buy every project he has and will release if god's willing. It's worth the purchase and if you had gotten it free when you could you are lucky. So treasure his gems, not too many can do it like him.

I discovered J. Period thru his collab with my favorite Japanese producer DJ Krush in the mid 90s. He went under his full name Shawn J. Period at the time and I followed him into the Rawkus years and beyond. And of course, Dilla is every producer’s favorite producer and has impacted producers and musicians like myself beyond hip-hop in the hugest way. And J. Period being the master mixer he is, this is a definite GEM!
