So it goes: Record (laptop, mic) ----> Edit (descript) -----> Host (transistor) Right?

Me and a friend are thinking of doing a podcast on photography and music

Years ago I created a science podcast that was hosted on Libsyn. It was the best platform at the time, but it was A LOT of work to use. This summer I'll be launching a wildlife photography podcast, and you've made a compelling case for choosing Transistor.

Hi, thank you for your videos, they are very helpful. I might have confused this but I’ve heard of Riverside, is that just where we record and then we use these platforms you just mentioned as host where it lives and distributes?

Do you still suggest Transistor or Captivate if the goal is to both a) host the audio/podcast from Substack posts and b) post your audiobooks? I watched your other video about not using Spotify and using Libsyn instead, but it still seemed like you had to agree to Spotify's T&C.
