I never imagined there were places in Seville similar to the poor Mexican neighborhoods. I've been told more than once that it's unsafe to go there. The area is often cordoned off by the police due to high crime rates, people walk the streets with guns, there are constant sirens, and instability is daily. It's mostly the poorest immigrants who live there, people with no other options. I can only imagine what it's like there at night. Overall, I agree with those who advised me to avoid LAS 3000 VIVIENDAS; there's nothing to do there except look for trouble.
