I found it frustrating that when Max fell to his knees with head pain, and dropped the shotgun. Nat broke free and ran, Max followed her (without the shotgun) then when Nat got back into the room, they scrabbled around for knives, there as a shotgun right there in the floor.
That Max Cady Batman moment was funniest sht ever for the life of me I could not find logic behind that boy opening the window lmao I knew your review wouldn't disappoint right out the gate I am on the floor
They mentioned that the baby was removed from the wife’s body in the first episode and a few more. It was assumed that their bodies were consumed by alligators based on where she was found
it was so disappointing. they edged us the whole show for this horrible ending. everything wrapped up way too fast and the scenes were laughable. It's unbelievable how this is the same show from the start. that last ep seems like a total different show. a meltdown in writing.
The show should have ended with Anna pulling a gigantic whiskey bottle out of the paper bag, surprise surprise, and celebrate Max's restaurant opening. Screen goes to black and we get our lives back.
I was rooting for Max, then I wasn’t, then I was rooting for the family, then I was rooting for Max again, then I was FORCED AGAINST MY WILL to root for the family again… i feel violated after watching this show. None of the main characters are likable. I guess Max is the most likable character but he goes too crazy you can’t really root for him
At least I have something to talk about tho so I’m not mad at it. They casted great actors, the script was just BUTT
These are the worst people and have no remorse for ruining this man’s life. They literally admitted that they sent an innocent man to prison because Anna thought he was Natalie’s father and they don’t feel bad at all about doing that?!?! If anything, they were scared it would come out that they purposely botched the case because Anna is messy and it would look bad if it got out that she was pregnant from her client. She doesn’t even know if Max was the father because she said she would drink and blackout with different men all the time. 🙄 Then they act like they are so much better than Max and have a higher moral ground. If they are truly part of the legal system, they know that prison changes you. Prior to him going to prison, Max didn’t commit any of these crimes. Prison set all of this into motion — the head injury where he kept seeing his family, that religion, his murdering of the leader of that religion, and who knows what else. It’s so wonder he was able to build a life by owning a restaurant and having a family after the horrible childhood he had. But now being exposed to prison for a crime he did not do on top of his childhood, is way more than anyone is expected to rise above. And Max accepted how much this changed him — he would never be able to function in society the way he did prior to prison. He never intended to survive the last episode because he kept saying that he was going to be reunited with his family. I was not rooting for Anna and Tom at all. They are despicable and do not care about how they totally ruined this man’s life. And on top of everything, it’s still not going to come out that they did this. They’re going to go on with their life enjoying their privilege, while their children will think that this behavior is perfectly fine.
It's like a student script with high production values. Why is Max never trying to find out who killed his wife? Because the plot must happen. This series makes me feel like my head is filled with cotton candy. I am in the autism spectrum and this is how I experience reality. Unclear emotions.
