Jason is a huge Leica devotee and collector as well. So Nikon electing to make him a fully brass ZR would definitely have appealed to his sensibilities.

Love your content, would love to see you talk about Fuji XT5 like you touched on a few months back. I have Nikon and Fuji and at times love one more than the other.

Mainly travel internationally with Fuji as light but travelling around Australia, driving etc u always take Nikon with a class lenses.

A lot of your content recently centred around ZR. Would love to see more on Fuji xt5 as your take o with your experience would be much appreciated.

I saw Jason Momoa about 12-13 years ago when I was living in South Florida at a Comic Con. I have some pictures of him taken with my old Nikon D7000. I will have to copy them to my flckr account and post a link to them for you Matt. He was so damn nice and friendly to the people there. A good man.

The Smallrig hot-shoe dead-cats were mounted on my ZR the minute it arrived. The SmallRig camera batteries with built in USB-C charging port are also extremely practical ( I now never use the Nikon EN-EL15c battery). Most wanted accessory remains an EVF ( would like it to include the mic dead-cats if it plugs into the hot-shoe )

Smallrig should do a hdmi and usbC version of that cage bracket. They did one for blackmagic camera. With the apps, usbC is becoming more important than hdmi.

No links to the Sakks? 🥳 A friend of mine and Nikon Z shooter got to work with Jason on some stuff, I like to think he rubbed off on him a bit in terms of being open to Nikon systems.
