I bought and used this exact product yesterday and while I agree that the quailty may not be the best, however this worked perfectly and performed as needed. If you want a professional product im sure one can open the wallet and spend more, however for an inexpensive solution that you may use a few times a year , this will do the job.  Thanks

Thanks for owning up to your mistake! Character game is strong 🤙

When he said , “sometimes fluid comes out the back.” I was like what!??? 🤣 hey people, the whole reason for the catch can inbetween the bleed screw and pump is so that the fluid will drop into the catch can and NEVER get to the pump. So if fluid is leaking from your vacuum pump , you done already ruined your pump. Fluid getting into this style pump ruins it.

Instructions say to pump up the pressure with the bleeder screw closed before you open it up to the built up suction. You're still not following the written directions that come with it. Other youtube video reviews on this tool do the same. They clearly didn't read the directions carefully.

Good idea in using the pump to empty the reservoir and eliminating the turkey baster. You are redeemed.

dude you pump it up then open the bleeder and the hose goes UP as air travels up. then close the bleeder with the vacuum still on.

I don’t even have one and see you still have it FU. There are 2 small hoses in the kit, one goes on the underside of the twist cap and the other between the pump and bottle. They give you one extra long hose. Do not use the long hose between the pump and the bottle. Also pump first up to 15 psi then open the bleeder and the fluid flows out, then close the bleeder and pump again and repeat. Pretend the pump is the guy in the drivers seat pumping up the brakes for you when doing a 2 man bleed.

If you read the directions they tell you to use one of the Tapered Hose adapters and then push that into the proper Brake Bleed Screw adapter. This would be impossible and probably was lost in the translation. The Bleed Screw adapter should go directly on to the 23 inch suction hose.

Just tried all old school methods and for the first time they didn't work. So i bought the pump again, my first was a mighty vac plastic junk. Broke after 5 years. So i needed to try vacuum and needed a pump again. I bought this one because its metal. I oild everything inside and out with marvel mystery oil and blead my system. I have pressure again at my pedal. 🥳 I always had better luck with pump and release 2 person. But this time it didn't work so i had to spend the money. But in the end im happy that its metal and put it in a case. 👍

Harbor freight has a lot of crap but some of their stuff still kicks ass.  I bought a Campbell Hausfeld air compressor back in 97 & it still runs with no problems.

I just used this tool on my car yesterday and it worked super great no problems. I'm a regular Joe who decided to save my self 5oo bucks by changing my own brakes with success, car stops on the dime. HOWEVER makes sure all bubbles are diminish before completing, needless to say you have to pump this thing like crazy some times when you dont see fluid eventually the fluid burps up then bubbles then last flowing brake fluid, good luck!

Used mine once and put in drawer for few years. Just pulled it our and it doesn't work anymore. It won't pull a vacuum and plastic face fell off gauge.

Takes a big man to admit when he messes up. Appreciate this review. I am looking to bleed my brakes today on my 69 Corvette.

i purchased this item ,, mine worked very well,, i got a bit creative and cut the boot that fits over the nipple so its just like a small rubber hose therefore the fit was very snug allowing more suction..

You did another mistake in first video; you shouldn't let brake fluid get into the vacuum pump. The small container is for this purpose. I would  put the container in the jar  so it stays upright and blocs fluid from backing up and maybe destroying the o-rings in the pump, otherwise good video

now Pete your pulling a vacuum. Drop the term pressure.

I subbed just because you owned up to mistakes and it helped me out. Thanks.

Thanks. For me the truth is the most important thing. Thanks for part 2. You have my vote.

You have thick skin to withstand the caustic comments. You did your best, thanks for the video

I expected more liquide out from lines seems it's only sucking the fluid the in caliper here and create a pocket in.
