The Secret Behind FF7 Remake's Dance Numbers!

The Secret Behind FF7 Remake's Dance Numbers! FFX2's director, Motomu Toriyama, is a co-director on the video games Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth. Now you know where those 3min dances and Aeris's Disney musical number come from. If you don't believe me, watch how effortlessly the song segments from both games sync up. We compare Yuna's Real Emotion to Cloud's dance in the Honeybee Inn, and Aeris's Gold Saucer song "No Promises To Keep" with 1000 Words. They match down to the timing, beats, run time, gestures, chroegraphy and imagery. It's just my opinion, but I don't think they should have let Final Fantasy X-2 influence FF7 "Remake". Tune in Spring 2027 for FF7 Revelation

FFX2’s director is a co-director of FF7 Remake & Rebirth.
Now you know where those 3 min dance sequences come from.
Now you know why Aeris has her own Disney musical number.

In my opinion, mixing FFX2 with FF7 was not a good idea.

UPDATE: Because of the music, this video is completely Demonetized. Which means it has literally zero algorithm push. I still posted it because I thought it was worth making the point, but I honestly thought it’d get 200 views tops lol. Thank you for seeking out and enjoying my forbidden content 💀

Playing the Honey Bee scene in front of my father was the most embarrassing moment of my life. The look of disappointment is forever burned into my brain.

And now, 8 months later, we know that we'll have dresspheres on FF7R3. Sebby several steps ahead, as always 😂

The final battle in part 3 will be a dance off between cloud and sephiroth.

I sympathized with Cid falling asleep to Loveless.

I wish you all for someone to love you with the same intensity and fiery passion as Seb hates the FF remake games.

Crazy how Square Enix had an actual masterpiece right in front of them they had the rights to COPY directly that they could have used to make a guaranteed amazing story and they STILL FAILED to do it. This is like copying your friend's A graded homework and still getting a D somehow.

I would have encouraged modern changes if the company developing it was competent

Can't wait for a Thriller style dance sequence in Part 3 featuring all the dead Aeriths from all the other timelines

That's what Devil May Clive needed a dance routine to break the monotony of 76 side quests

Something people gloss over with this dance scene is the fact, Cloud is supposed to be covert, yet here he is dancing around like an idiot as his friend could potentially be raped by Corneo. The original only a few people knew what he was doing, in the remake I questioned how the hell Corneo didnt know about any of this was happening in what was HIS town.

1000 words indeed is way better.

The problem is that it fits in a game like X-2, but has no place in FFVII, especially for those who played the OG version

Motomu Toriyama was also the director of the FF13 trilogy, which is where the whole defy destiny BS comes from. And if you want more examples of his influence, play the 3rd birthday and compare it to Parasite Eve. It's crazy just how different the quality of writing is.
