In an Alternate universe, Naruto gets denied eating at Ichiraku Ramen, and he joins the Alatsuki.

Tenten missed out yet again

plot twist. Danzo keeps trying to get Hiruzen assassinated because he hates how poorly Hiruzen treats Naruto.
And in an Alt Universe, Hiruzen actually takes care of Naruto like he promised Kushina, but Ichiraku Ramen Guy bullies Naruto and overcharges him or kicks him out.

I think the real reason they all joined the akatsuki is pretty obvious… they saw that sick ass cloak

Now we need a part 2, Who becomes the protagonists to fight this Akatsuki

@romerojackson4405 1 month ago

Naruto child of prophecy falling to the darkside. He would simply be Menma Uzumaki.

Ngl I would switch Hinata with Neji, he was strong and had good reason to hate the main branch family as well, and finding some way to remove the curse mark would be fun to explore, it could be Orichimaru aiming for him instead of Sasuke, and removing the mark would be like Mai dying for him

@ozzymadnius 1 month ago

Hinata in the Akatsuki would be brutal

@GGDAWG7 1 month ago

Honestly surprised to not hear Neji added on this list. He hated the Main branch and how his father died. If he never gets beat by Naruto and helps Hinata after his redemption arc, then he could easily become one of the most powerful Akatsuki. And he wouldn’t be the target of sticks anymore

@PyrrhusVictorian 1 month ago

I've always thought Neji had evil potential followinga similarpathto Sasuke. Gets Curse mark, Caged bird seal activates while in the jar(retrieval arc), Steals Hinata's eyes, kills Orochi, joins Aikatsuki.

My homie Kakuzu had the most valid reason to join.

Got to go make that paper.

Nick, get better sponsors. They're the Natty Light of therapy

@HoodyBlk 1 month ago

Hmm.. Rock Lee would be the new Naruto in this alt universe?? Or the main character be someone else??

@Brendon_chifamba 1 month ago

I think with what happened to his father kakashi would be a great member

@MrLexJLuthor 1 month ago

Wait, Nick. This is too good. Which members pair off and which jinchuriki are they assigned to capture and why?

@ohdell85 1 month ago (edited)

Random mostly unrelated theory. If orochimaru had succeeded in taking either Sasuke or Itachis body, and then fought and defeated the other, could the eternal mangekyo still be unlocked by transplanting the other brothers eyes?

NO MORE BETTER HELP!!!

@sille_ex 1 month ago

“kakuzu because he wanted money” yes, because he’s real, we all struggling with you kakuzu

@tkmays1761 1 month ago

So I’m imagining the pairings would be: Naruto & Hinata, Zabuza and Haku, Sasuke & Gaara, Kimmimaro and Kabuto. The latter 2 just being angst and medical/body ninjutsu respectively

@somadeer 1 month ago

Utakata is probably one of the best bets to join the Akatsuki if they aren't hunting down jinchuriki

crazy strong, being hunting by his village (missing nin), has plenty of reason to want to see the current world be remade (on the surface), and lots of potential for cool storylines if we include Hotaru into the story. He could even be a Kakuzu to Gaara's Hidan, or be the group's Itachi-like figure; stoic, mysterious, and powerful.
