I hope Dan, Chris and Ben get together again as mates. It doesn't matter if they never play another note of music, or if they jam together and no one hears it. It's just important that they re-establish their bond so they can look back at that time without the bitterness.

I wish they’d stop pushing repairing the friendship with Daniel, ppl change, lives change. We aren’t going to be friends with everyone our whole lives, esp in this situation. Glad Ben and Chris have reunited naturally.

Maybe try letting them finish a train of thought before interrupting

Sometimes, there's too much water under the bridge. Just be grateful for what you've accomplished together and then, go your own way.

It really makes you respect the Rolling Stones.  Can you imagine dealing with Mick Jagger's ego for your whole life and never murdering him, let alone keeping the band together.

I saw Silverchair live at their homecoming show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre in 1999 - the good old days!

A reminder how much influence and tallent Daniel had in the band. It all came to a grinding halt without him involved

If you haven’t read the book…..do it.😊

It was too much, too soon & Daniel’s clearly struggled with his mental and physical health since the start. I don’t blame him for wanting silverchair to stop. All that band seemed to do was cause him damage which he’s spent his entire life from mid-teen, trying to heal from. Ben’s always seemed to have a chip on his shoulder because he was in a band that achieved so much & could tour on a global scale, then his best mate ended the band & took his career with it. This book came about because Daniel did the podcast & released his album last year with TONS of silverchair related merch. He’s essentially profiting from silverchair’s legacy (which he’s entitled to) without Ben. Say what you want about his solo stuff, at least he’s never really stopped making music. It’s easy for people to turn on Daniel but his experience in that band was very different to theirs.

At the end of the day, Ben could’ve started another band any time he wanted over the last 10-12 years but he tethered his career to Daniel & has chosen to resent him for it. That’s on him. Do feel bad for Chris though. He’s been through way too much & is always caught in the middle. Hopefully they’re friends again one day

Thanks so much Chris and Ben I grew up listening to your music I waa 13 in 99 and you all were my musical heros so pleased to here you are all friends now enjoy every moment of life you can

I love silverchair and Daniel I love you. Take care of yourself 💋💗

i saw them live. opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers. i THINK it was 1994. but my WORD. they came on and CRUSHED it SO HARD. that RHCP had a hard time coming on AFTER them. from THAT day i was a silverchair fan for LIFE. them boys were like FIFTEEN or SIXTEEN them days. played almost that whole frogstomp album from front to back.

No one....I mean no one is responsible for how your life turns out Post Band. Chris, I didnt know you are recovering from Cancer & a heart attack, Im so sorry.
Your new job looks Ace and Ive a feeling you are happier than youve ever been, well in a long time. Ben I dont get your motives. You had 20 years to come up with an Alternative band, think Eddie Veddar, Phil Collins, Scott Weiland all had successful 2nd and some solo and 3rd bands to their credit! Hope the book pays off your Mortgage though and you have had a closure getting the book out. 📖 youve had your say which youre 100% entitled too.

Invitation?! Well you could GIVE HIM A COPY to start with then! 😂

Daniel needs to be there.

A bit of cringe there. Yeah its a celebration why were here to talk about the book... oh really, let me end on the unfortunate scene with Dan even though weve covered that before 🤦

Love you guys and at 60 years old I still love you guys ☺

It would've been nice to have a link to the book.

What a fit for Taylor Hawkins replacement but with two young kids it’d be quite difficult.

At the home of Rock 2gb 🤣
