This video takes a different approach to the start of WW2, exploring the events that led to the conflict from a global perspective, not just a European one. It challenges the common belief that the war began with Germany's invasion of Poland by delving into the Second Sino-Japanese War, which started in 1937. It highlights the brutal reality of the war on the ground, emphasizing the human cost for soldiers and civilians, before moving on to key moments in the early stages of the war, including the Battle of Britain, the Blitz, and the attack on Pearl Harbor, ultimately setting the stage for the global conflict that would unfold.
