I honestly think that the McLaren driver was actually scared of crashing one of the most expensive cars of that time and still today in these very tricky conditions.

The McLaren driver was brave to stick it out as long as he did. I don't blame them for bringing it in, it's just not worth trying to put that much power through 2 wheels in the wet. This program deserves massive credit too, no other TV show raced an F1 in such close quarters to other cars like they did - even in the dry - let alone these conditions. Epic!

We all know the Mclaren F1 would absolutely dominate this race. But it's no joke driving such an expensive car on a wet track.

Wow F1 is flying down the back straight. F1's light front end understeers quite bad in the wet, also the track is tight it spent most of it's time in 1st gear. The driver was careful with it which is understandable. Nice race!

Cant really put down anywhere near all that 630hp to the ground, especially in slippery roads at a time where tc is nearly unheard of, cant blame the guy
