Fantastic running. I yoyo'ed with you and Maria for most of the first 45 miles (that's me in the pink skirt and yellow top) I completely crashed and burned at Botolphs, made it to Clayton Windmills and decided to call it a day. I've done the race twice before in good style so didn't want a 35 mile deathmarch to the finish! Gutted to see that Maria stopped at Botolphs, she was looking so strong in the first half, but the weather conditions were brutal. I've got to get some heat training done before NDW100 I think!
Brilliant account of your first 100 miles! Well done! So chirpy and positive right to the end! My video shows a very different experience! π. I've subscribed. Keep it up!
You needed to learn where the hidden water taps are along the SDW, some were in-between the aid stations. Great running though, I was a spectator and that was hard enough in the heat.
Re smog, it's the countryside, we don't have smog just fog π€£
