I agree with your assessment that the discussion of public executions is to generate fear, but he announces it on the USS Lincoln for a reason. We need to talk about how he changed the news coverage away from those sailors and how he and DOD abused and abandoned them.

The livestreaming of executions is a PR ploy by the Administration to get more votes in November from disenchanted & souring MAGA voters who are otherwise staying home.

Yes, they want us scared.
They also want us fighting with each other.  The more fractured we are, the easier we are to subdue and circumvent.  This is why I resist partisan thinking.  It's why I listen to people who may not think exactly as I do.  We all have something to contribute and the commonalities among us are greater than our differences.  We've GOT to keep ourselves cohesive and focused on truth.

I saw a clip of Hegseth working out with the troops in San Diego. It was hilarious. Mr Macho fell far behind (especially running laps)! Knowing he is such a joke makes me see him for what he is, and being afraid of him is impossible!
