This is an approach that every guitarist needs to learn.

Great lesson! I love how you took Charlie Christian's style (what I thought was more complicated before this video) and explained it in a concise/no b.s way in 8 minutes. Subscribed and looking forward to more content.

Fantastic lesson and concepts very well presented. Opens up all kinds of new doors - thanks so much!!

This is really great stuff. You transformed a thinking task into a looking task (well looking at the fretboard). Makes it much easier! Thank you.

Nicely done! You play what you say.

Holy crap Batmann! Great lesson. I recently hit a plateau, and I always want to go back to the Godfather of Jazz guitar, but none of the lessons and teachers have really hit on the hit thing for me to absorb it, until this. Thank you

uff I just discovered your channel and came to this awesome lesson, visualizing, even playing the chords while soloing make it much more clear and useful. I will see more video of your channel, subscribe and will check your album.
Thank you very much for sharing in that awesome way!!

Wow brilliant look at Charlies style, from a perspective thats totally new to me. Not the licks or the chord shapes, but the way you approach playing the lines straight out of the chord grips ( that G9 thing is wonderful!). Thanks, fantastic
