Sicily, the 1980s. The Mafia has built an empire based on money, violence, corruption, and fear. But prosecutor Giovanni Falcone believes there is a way to bring that empire down. Instead of only chasing killers, he follows the money. Bank accounts. Secret transactions. Hidden connections. And a financial network leading directly toward some of Sicily's most powerful organized-crime figures. But Falcone cannot fight this war alone. His investigation takes a crucial turn when former Mafia boss Tommaso Buscetta agrees to cooperate with authorities and reveal the organization from the inside. For the first time, prosecutors gain an extraordinary look into the structure and secrets of the Sicilian Mafia. The information could help destroy an empire. It could also make everyone involved a target. As investigations intensify and powerful criminals are brought to trial, Falcone finds himself fighting not only organized crime but also political pressure, betrayal, and a system where trust can be deadly. Based on real events, this gripping crime drama tells the story of one of the most important battles against the Sicilian Mafia.
