So you omit dianosing the pulse generator..... the thing that was actually the problem.

Just found your u tube videos and subscribed! I ride the 650L. Pretty happy with the stock version.  If I want something faster or more comfortable, I’ll buy it.

I'm having tha no spark issues right now,  started and road fine until it got hot out,  then hit or miss on starting,  now no spark at all, changed the CDI,  Coil with wire,  still no spark,  did a little research and found out about the pulse generator today,  after changed out the Coil and CDI, will be checking the pulse gen, tomorrow thank u for the video

My bike is doing the exact same thing. One large spark and then nothing...tore apart cdi and discovered numerous questionable solder joints. Cleaned potting and resooldered. No help..ordered icm...  More to come

So I have similar issues..I thought i had fuel issues,  would run a bit then shut off..pulled plug.  Checked.  One spark only.  Turn off key.  Turn on, one spark BUT, put battery charger on then have consistent spark..... haven't tried new plug yet 🤔.  So charger gives hotter spark? Coil maybe 🤔 or sensor?

I think I'm going to get my hog out and go for a ride here in a little bit

What size socket is that to take the plug out?

Must be nice to be able to get that part.  I have an "82 Kawasaki KZ440 LTD that has a bad pickup coil.  Starts good then I can ride about 10 miles before she quits.  I have to spray the coil with some electronic freeze spray then I can ride  maybe another 10 miles and do it again and again til I get home.  Kawasaki doesn't make the part anymore.  I got a used one from Ebay and it didn't work at all.  Can't find a good one anywhere.  I guess that's it for the bike.
