Shocking or just business as usual? Some of the biggest pop stars have been caught in ghost vocal drama... which side are you on?

Oh… and don’t forget to subscribe for more content ❤

I love how the music makes the video sound like a true crime documentary

How did anyone listen to a jlo album and not realise she sounded different in every single song???

This is where Prince saying "my microphone IS on!" comes from...

My poor girl Britney was so heavily medicated during 2011/2015 that it was purely impossible to do anything, she had purely 0% control on what was happening while her father and team tried to surfed on the black eyed peas/Will I Am trend of early 2010's

It is extremely disturbing to hear someone say "I will do anything to be famous." Sad.

i remember listening to "i aint yo mama" by Jennifer Lopez and thinking it was megan Trainor until i saw the music video only to find out that megan did sing 90% of the song

Can't give them enough credit, the ladies of En Vogue are damn amazing singers and so underrated.

In Britney's defense she didn't want to perform in the first place at that time.

The conservatorship definitely took a huge toll on Britney. She was likely extremely depressed and was being taken advantage of, even by the people closest to her. She was a wreck and in no condition to be working and releasing an album at the time.

Let’s be honest about Milli Vanilli. They didn’t get destroyed because they lip-synced — half of pop music has done that for decades. They got destroyed because they embarrassed powerful people. Milli Vanilli broke the unspoken industry rule: don’t expose the illusion. That didn’t just make them look fake — it made the industry look fake. Once that happened, somebody had to be sacrificed. And it wasn’t going to be the producers, executives, or labels who engineered the whole thing. It was going to be the two visible, disposable faces out front.
Other pop acts got passes because: they played the game quietly, they had stronger industry protection.
So no — this wasn’t about “artistic integrity.” It was about control. They didn’t just lip-sync. They exposed how manufactured pop music really is. And for that, the industry made an example out of them. Hollywood doesn’t punish fakery — it punishes people who make the fakery obvious. I'm not saying this because I condone or approve of this I'm saying it because it's true.

Being fake used to be bad.. Now it's acceptable and admired. That shows you how far down the hole the music industry is.

21:31 the MJ doesn’t even count because they released that album after his death and probably hired people to finish unfinished songs…

Frank Farian used a similar strategy of vocal deception for Boney M. years before the infamous Milli Vanilli scandal.
Farian essentially used Boney M. as a studio project where he provided most of the male vocals himself.

I wondered why Britney sounded so British on that song with Will.I.Am. I thought she was just being cheeky by sounding British.

It's insane for anyone older than 40-45 nowadays to even understand how people will go to these concerts where nearly the entire performance is pre-recorded. They'll claim nowadays that there's so much dancing and lights and "show" that who cares if it's recorded, but in the 70s and 80s (till mid 80s), performances were nearly all live, except when on TV shows.

The million dollar question. How did that backing track skip so badly. It’s almost like they were sabotaged

Britney didn’t want to do the residency or the album so they got Myah to do it and forced her to perform to it. She talks about it in her book. Her attitude to everyone at the time was “fuck you.” She did it to be able to see her kids. With Femme Fatale she had just found out that the conservatorship was made permanent behind her back. It was supposed to be over after Circus when she “proved herself.”  Glory was the album where she wanted to make music again and you can tell it’s her. It feels like her. Love the video.

That Britney Jean album was a slap in Britney's face. At that point, she wasn't allowed to choose her own songs or have any say in how they were done. The album after Blackout that she had done was scrapped and they replaced it with Circus. I do love a lot of the music on that album, but you can tell she was so unhappy and was just going through the motions. The gimmicky product placement and all of that was not her style at all and in the Circus video that was right in your face. It was about money and they didn't care how they got it from her. They leveraged her kids, her anticipation of being released from the conservatorship and from what I've seen other YouTubers say - who work in body language reading - her facial structure starts to change a lot with her eyes turning down at the corners and is a sign of a creative personality being constrained or not being able to express themselves creatively. Sad all around

As a child I was always confused why you hear another voice in nearly every J Lo Song. For example in ain‘t it funny, let‘s get loud or if you had my love. But the similar Britney voice is really shocking to me 😬
