Love from India. We are devided by nation connected by music 💕💕

He belongs to everyone on this earth who likes him.

Lataji (Mangeshkar) Didi had once said that "if God has a Voice, it would be same like when Mehdi Hassan sahab sings" 👆👍👍🙏

Khan SAHIB Mehdi Hassan SAHIB is only one who will remain in our heart's and in soul.May his soul remain in Heaveñ.Aamin

Mehdi Hassan’s voice has the dignity of a king and the softness of a whisper. Absolutely timeless...

India me aapko Dil se chahne mannewale bahut he...

Huge respect & salute from the Himalayan Nation Nepal to The Shahanshah-E-Ghazal ....

Believe me rona araha hai mujhe, kitna khoobsurat aur pure zamana tha. Itna bara singer/Ustad aur koi takabur koi attitude nahi.
Yeh hum ajkal kis artificial daur mai reh rahe hein. Na ache ki qadar karte hein aur na bure ko bura kehta hein, sab dual face hein. 😢

We Indians and Pakistanis can agree to disagree on everything except that Mehdi Hassan is the greatest ghazal singer ever!! There probably will never be anyone like him!!

Words are not enough to describe a Maestro, king of Ghazals

Led Zeppelin has a song called "Stairway to Heaven."  If you are fortunate enough to ascend that Stairway to (Musical) Heaven, you'll find Ustad Mehdi Hassan at the top of it.  May the Almighty grant him peace in direct proportion to the joy he brought to all of us when he was in our midst.

Nothing gets me close to heaven than his voice

Mehdi Hassan was the favourite singer of the late great Lata Mangeshkar. Whenever she was free she used to listen to his ghazals.

This rendition remains timeless. Mehdi Hassan's command over the harkat and murki is technically flawless. Notice how he lets certain syllables linger, mirroring the way a person might hesitate when speaking about a painful memory. Perhaps his greatest strength is his use of pauses. In this ghazal, the space between the words is as important as the notes themselves. It allows the listener to fully absorb the weight of the poetry written by Ahmed Faraz.

We have lost Rafi, Lata, Mukesh, Talat Mahmood,  Jagjit Singh and Mehdi Hasan and many many more. All unmatched  and divinely gifted. I wish I could hear  their heart-touching songs in my grave.

His humbleness shows his greatness, somthing which is missing in today's artists ❤❤

Kiya adaab hain ... kiya guftagu main tameez aur piyar ... wah wah Zabardast ❤

Dr Pachade Amravati Maharashtra India Mehadi sahib is respected globally
He had rich classical heritage. Listening to him gives eternal pleasure.

I entered into ghazal because of him. May his pure musical soul RIP.
