This demonstration focuses on the process of creating a realistic portrait, specifically how to build depth in the face, clothing, and hair. You will see my methods for maintaining detail while working with layers, which is essential for any successful portrait tutorial.

By observing the progression from the initial wash to the final fine brushwork, you can refine your own curly hair painting skills. Mastering these specific watercolor techniques will help you achieve subtle shading and realistic depth in your future projects.
