Mistress: Pastor Repeatedly Said He Wanted His Wife Dead

Alleigha Botner testified that Caleb Flynn repeatedly expressed hatred toward his wife, Ashley, and made increasingly explicit statements about wanting her dead. Botner said Flynn told her he wished he could kill Ashley without going to jail and at one point said he had been thinking about ways to kill her. She also testified that the pair regularly deleted messages and that she helped Flynn delete data from his devices, including the night before Ashley was killed.
