"you can't take that feeling away of lifting the trophies" well man city did take it away from all the clubs and fans they cheated..so yes, you can.

Oh it’s Scott the City spokesman!

A siege mentality when all the players will know they're guilty is actually pretty pathetic. It's embarrassing levels of delusion and actually comes across as weakness. Ego and entitlement so big they won't accept guilt even when they're bang to rights.

Ian Holloway is spot on. Scott Minto is a clown.

These two are David Brent and his mate Finchey

Ian Holloway,  is 💯 percent correct,  so well said sir 👏

EFL should reject Sham City.

Stop with the sympathy for fans and players. This is the whole strategy of City with dragging this out. This should make the punishment much harder.

These lot are taking the piss

The players signed contracts knowing Manchester City was cheating there just as bad as the club ta ra 👋

What gives you the impression that Maresca has the charisma, and leadership quality to replicate Sir Alex or Jose to rile up the troops

Meresca is a disgrace with his words. Absolute disgrace

I hope they crumble on the pitch like the club is in the background

They need to keep asking “why do you trust the club?” Until he answers he’s as bad as them. And if the fans don’t boycott the owners and force them out then they are as bad as them. Kick them all out!

I get that these City employees (Manager, Coaches and Players) are under contract and are paid rather well.

But I've not seen one person connected to Ciry past or present show any sign of integrity, or express any level of concern.

In my opinion, this screams on pure guilt and fear.

I find it quite frustrating, that most people involved with City are so confident that they will get off with this. Am I missing something here, they were found guilty of mostly all of the charges. There is confidence, but it appears to be more arrogance.

Ian Holloway speaks for the fans

Isn't it strange that when you look into the history of financial controls on football clubs, you'll see that they have been in place since 1896, it started when the FA introduced law 34, which restricted divided payments to club shareholders to 5%, also said club directors could not be paid. This restricted money from being taken "out" of a club, so it protected the club. This rule went unbroken for 87 years until Spurs, United, Aston Villa and Newcastle decided to break it....yet weren't punished, they weren't punished because they just changed the rules. Don't punish them just change them. (You couldn't make this up) so dividends of 15% could be paid and directors paid, it was changed so money could more easily be taken out of a club. Then in 1998 these rules were pretty much annulled, United and Arsenal were on the tv every week and their owners deserved a bigger payout. At this point 1998 United had a turnover of £90 million, the next biggest English clubs were Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal who's incomes were in the £40 millions, Crystal Palace who finished bottom had a turnover of £7 million. So basically United could buy any player on the planet because they were on live TV every week and Crystal Palace were only ever on if they were playing United. How could this ever be changed???
Chelsea saw the way to do it, with owners investment  so in 2003 Abramovich bought Chelsea and the cartel of clubs controlling the league panicked (Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and of course United). They then quickly introduced new rules, we'd gone for over a hundred years with rules controlling what you could take out of a club and no-one broke it and football went along very nicely, but now the rules were changing to control how much you can put "into" a club. You weren't allowed to take the clubs money out and give it to you, but now you can!! But now you can't put your money into a club!!! The reason being it threatens the clubs at the top. (I'm not sure if that was the plot to Godfather 1 or 2). By 2010 we had lots of new owners and the scramble was now on to either protect what you already had, or invest your own money.
For 100 years the game had progressed nicely using the policy of if you want success invest in players and managers. But now we had the established big 4 of United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs who just thought that we dominate now, build a wall around us by stopping investment and spending, and then we'll always dominate (that's definitely the plot from Godfather 2). So this is what we have today, rules that have take football in a completely opposite direction of not being allowed to put money in, are being broken nearly every year, if you look at any club you'll always find they've been broken, but of course some clubs are never looked at. If you can't see that the whole thing is corrupt then you can't be looking. Who ever heard of not being allowed to invest your own money, because it might stop someone else being successful.

Scott Minto, bang average player, now a bang poor pundit!

Did I just hear ex Chelsea player Minto say it would be harsh if city got kicked from the league!?
