Kitsunero is proving the stereotypes about Germany and Europe right. Every city bureaucratic practice Planet Fitness has, she just responds with "that's normal isn't it? that's how we do it here."

I bet at Planet fitness's equivalent in Germany you have to show your papers every time you walk in.

Nobody on earth wants you to do well at the gym more than the gym bros do.  it is seriously the most supportive environment i have ever been in.  It makes sense when you think about it.  a gym bro isn't born, they're made.  That means gym bros reproduce by transforming non gym bros into gym bros.

19:20 gallon of milk can disappear fairly quickly in a family house, particularly if cereal with milk is had every morning.

I was a gym bro when I was younger and it's common to spend 2 to 4 hours a day in the gym.  I carried around an old gallon milk jug and drank most of it over the work out.  The objective is to drink at least one gallon of water a day and its easier to track with one jug of water.

As a 150 pound American who is not at all a gym bro, I never understood the gallon jug of water thing until just a week or two ago.  It's been crazy hot outside this summer, and I've been helping my parents mow their lawns.  I was getting hot enough for sweat to drip into my eyes frequently, and I realized I was drinking at least half a gallon of water just while mowing the lawns, which only takes me an hour or two and honestly isn't that hard for me to do.  While I'm sure air conditioning makes a difference, I can understand now why somebody building up a sweat and burning tons of calories would be drinking ridiculous amounts of water.

The reason for no gallon jugs of water is because it's a stereotype that muscle heads drink from gallon jugs at the gym. Planet Fitness, as shown, discriminates against the "gym bro" and "muscle head" stereotypes. It's the same for the grunting, tank tops, gym bags, and personal equipment.

And it makes them complete hypocrites as they say it is supposed to be a "judgement free zone" but then judge these people.

Kitsu: “Chat! Cancel your unnecessary subscriptions!” 25:53 “WAIT NO NOT LIKE THAT!” :_kitsuCry::_kitsuHehe:

Few things.

Milk is used a lot in the U.S. Cereal is a common breakfast food, it's used a lot in cooking, it's often mixed in with protein shakes, chocolate milk is a common snack for kids, etc. A family of three or four, which is a huge number of homes in the US (or roommates, as almost no one that's not at little upper middle class can afford to live alone anymore) might go through 2-4 gallons in a week.

As far as the card vs. bank info thing, that's going to vary from state to state on if they can get away with it. Many places have laws in place about companies with physical locations having to accept cash, since many were trying to switch to card or banking info only (both because people tend to spend more on plastic and because credit companies in some cases were bribing them to so they could harvest more data.)

Gym memberships vary quite a bit. Most I've seen are anywhere from 35-60 a month with some outliers. Most exceptions are little community gyms run by local people or other community focused organizations, which are generally $10-25 a month, but they aren't as common as the big corporate ones and are usually not 24 hour.

As far as gallon jugs, look Kitsu, you're smol compared to a lot of these people lol. Men's body temp also usually runs higher, and when you're 180 or more lbs of muscle (about 82 kg) and you're working up a sweat, you need a loooot of water.

17:58 as someone who was actually going to this gym last summer, I can confirm that this thing is true.

19:00 The "problem" with gallon jugs of water at the gym is the type of people who bring entire gallon jugs (as opposed to a standard 20oz sports bottle) are people who expect to need to hydrate that much over the course of their workout. In other words, hardcore gym bros who expect to be sweating about a gallon over the course of a several hour workout, and would thus need to replenish a gallon of fluids.

Fat Electrician's video reminded me to finally go in and cancel my subscription when the video was posted because I had forgotten I still had it (I work out at a different gym now and have done so for years). I did the math.... I lost so much money to Planet Fitness that I will never get back... over $2000 dollars, not including the yearly fees. It is my fault for not manning up... and I'll never get my money back for that... but man that makes me angry at Planet Fitness for not letting me cancel it over the phone like I tried to many years ago.

Non pasteurized milk is not sold at grocery stores

"No work boots" So when my hand slips and the weight crushes my toes, it's your fault?
"No jeans" Why?! That was my entire pant wardrobe when I was doing weight training in high school.

"That's a lot of water. Why would you want to carry that much." Well, it's simple. I sweat that much in an hour. It sucks and I hate it. It's why I don't go to the gym. Don't want to disgust people with my water fountain body.
And yes, there's plenty of time to drink a gallon of milk. It takes roughly 3 weeks for it to spoil. If you use a liter of milk every 2 days for cereal and creamy pastas, you'll easily use up that much milk in time.

As long as gym bro isn't roided out of his mind they are usually super helpfull

Kitsu, if you want to understand the US mail system, you should watch The Fat Electrician's video on the US Postal Service's mail truck.

And no, it's not on his commercial channel, The Fat Files. It's on his main channel,  the military channel, The Fat Electrician. This is not a mistake.

31:40 A certified letter? Nah at that point I would just start up a new checking account and close the current one to avoid all that BS. A bit of a pain but it takes less time.

a lot of gyms have cancelation fees... so if they have your bank account information then they got you by the balls on your contract.

We can send letters from our mailbox Kitsu, just not a certified letter. Certified letters have to go through the post office.

Several planet fitness gyms went out of business in my area because of how aggressive they were with their policies and how they treated their customers
