Can an ordinary candle transfer a printed image onto wood? In this tutorial, I’m testing this inexpensive image-transfer method and sharing exactly how it works—including the honest final results.
Using candle wax, regular copy paper and a little heat, I’ll show you how to transfer a laser-printed graphic onto raw wood without transfer gel. This technique creates a naturally distressed finish, but it does require patience, pressure and plenty of rubbing!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: This method requires a *laser printer* and **raw, unfinished, absorbent wood**. If your graphic contains words, remember to reverse the image before printing.

So nothing "expensive" like gels or paper....just "cheap" things like laser printers. lol
