Hello dear viewers, welcome to Resilient and Grandma’s story. ❤️
Grandma is still fighting. For her, there are only two choices: victory or facing a harsh and freezing winter. She refuses to accept defeat. Every time life knocks her down, she stands up and tries again.
She lost her old cabin, but she built again.
The roof was damaged, but she rebuilt it.
She said a painful goodbye to her old firewood shelter, but now she is building another one.
Grandma is the true meaning of resilience, strength, and perseverance.
Her dream is simple: to live a peaceful and comfortable life in the mountains, far from the noise of civilization and far from the people who have hurt her in the past. She only wants a safe and quiet life of her own.
Sometimes she becomes exhausted and sleeps, but the next morning she wakes up stronger than yesterday and continues her journey.
Today, I brought several wooden beams for the roof of the firewood shelter, but they were not enough. We still need a few more beams to finish the roof.
Grandma was already working hard. She was digging the ground and preparing the stones to build a strong firewood shelter for the coming winter.
She hates mess and dirt, and she says that keeping the firewood inside the cabin makes the small space crowded. So together, we started building a separate shelter for the firewood.
Stone by stone, we built the walls together. When Grandma saw the result, she was happy to see her new shelter slowly taking shape.
I also adjusted the roof, but we still need a few more wooden beams, a door, and several meters of plastic to protect the shelter from the rain and snow.
Grandma is still fighting. She is still building. She is still trying.
