We started the day somewhere unexpected — the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, FL — before heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios for Halloween details, a look inside the newly opened store in Animation Courtyard, and a fun shopping haul.

Gaylord Palms Resort is a gorgeous non-Disney resort built entirely inside one massive glass atrium, complete with waterfalls, koi ponds, and even live alligators. My friend was in town and wanted to see it, so we spent the morning exploring before heading to the parks.

That evening, we made our way to Disney's Hollywood Studios to check out the current Halloween decorations and seasonal treats, explore the shops in Animation Courtyard now that the area is doing it's final opening, and I did a little shopping of my own.
