I miss her so much.  She has left us wonderful crafts forever 💔

I come back here every time I do a quilt binding.   Melanie was an amazing young woman. You are missed.

This is always a refresher I need every time, thank you to Melanie, you are so missed ❤️💔

I miss her so! I enjoyed watching her classes. she taught me so much and was such a great teacher!! Please keep her channel up! Blessing to her family and all touched by her grace!

I’ve made several quilts and keep coming back to your tutorial for the stupid “joining the two ends” part while stitching the binding on to the back of the quilt. Lol.

I watched Melanie's binding videos so many times as I was doing the binding on two twin quilts, my first time binding. I don't think I would have used the mitered corners method without Melanie's videos.  Her instruction was so clear and enthusiastic that it gave me the courage to forge ahead and complete them. And I was so happy with the results (which is a miracle given my perfectionism streak; quilting presents quite the challenge to that issue!). When I was nearly finished, I learned that Melanie had passed in January, 2022 from cancer. It felt like a friend had died. Many thanks to her husband for continuing her channel which I plan on returning to again and again as I do more quilting projects. May Melanie rest in peace and know that she is continuing to help many others. My heart goes out to her husband and children on their tremendous loss.

Miss you.  Still need to watch this every time I make a quilt.
❤

I began quilting in August 2022 and Melanie taught me so much through that time and onward with the great teaching and encouragement shared in her videos. Thank you for continuing to share her knowledge and kindness by keeping her tutorials available. Melanie made a huge difference to so many and continues to shine her light. All the best to your family.

Melanie helped me learn to quilt. Now I’m back for some reminders. She is so missed.

I appreciate that these videos are still up. I’ve said it before but these videos helped me make my first quilt and I reference them often.

Thanks to Melanie i just made my first quilt . I then just went on the channel to see the latest videos and was so sad by what I saw. I just wanted to leave a comment to say thank you for leaving these videos up. Her wonderful lessons videos are still helping new quilting people like me. All my prayers, Amanda
