Hey Ray….thanks as always for your recaps. My husband had a stroke last week, and watching and catching up on your recaps while at the hospital has greatly helped keep me somewhat sane through last week, and now that we are home again, I appreciate even more how good your recaps are, and how steady you’ve been in posting them….so a bigger than normal thank you to you…. I hope you’re doing really well, and a giant thank you for your consistency! ❤❤
The movie hit me differently. It felt less like a horror story and more like a story about how easily emotions can steer our lives when there's no structure to help us process them.None of this is common sense. That's why every civilization keeps creating families, schools, communities, laws, philosophies, and religions. They are all attempts to help people manage fear, anger, loneliness, desire, and trauma in healthier ways. The hard part is that we naturally notice the fruit but not the roots. We see the reaction, not the maintenance. The conflict, not the relationships. The outcome, not the structure holding everything together.Maybe the real horror isn't the passenger. It's how easy it is for any of us to become one when we lose sight of our interdependence with others.
