Great repair, and your playing to

Excellent job sir! Hi from Scotland

Just learned something.  When you needed to glue the end brace at 10:56 the idea of gluing it while on it's side IN the guitar...............let's just say I wouldn't have thought of that.  So, thank-you!!

Loved the end playing of "I'll fly away " Subscribed!

Excellent job and explanation.:face-blue-smiling:

Nice job GG ! ❤‍🔥🤘

Well done. Excellent repair and loved the playing at the end. I'll definitely be back.

Great job Eddie! Awesome video work and a very nice way that you present the process...

About 12 years ago I used one of those JLD kits but I bought mine from the inventor who lived in New Mexico. I was repairing a 1939 Gibson J35 that was bellying up. He supplied me with some brass pegs because the device was supposed to be screwed through the D string hole (the peg ended with a screw end) so I could keep the guitar all original once the top settled back down. Blue book valve was $18k at that time. You could have darken the bridge with the old apple vinegar and steel wool mixture. Enjoyed the video and seeing your techniques.

Thank you so much for the great work and your attention to details. Plays well now. I just used it yesterday on a special number. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Outstanding 😅.
Only Jesus Saves 🙏 ❤...

I have the same guitar, but mahogany back and sides. So pretty! And sounds good too! Thanks for your hard work and sharing your knowledge!

I need to do this for a harp guitar and have been putting it off, you've given me motivation to give it a try. Thanks!!

Great looking guitar.

You didn’t show how you got rid of the bulge

It seems like the real problem for the belly bulge was the braces coming loose like that….got weak over time like there wasn’t enough glue from the build at the start of its life. Nice work by the way! I like those inside brace jack clamps.

Aloha Eddie! I watched this video and it did not ring a bell at all of familiarity. When I went to make a comment of the excellent job you did, I saw I had actually commented in the past….twice, LOL! I also had nothing else better to do so I read every comment. First f all, I applaud you for answering every one. If you had too many comments, that would be tiring. I was laughing at the brace comments because some weren’t paying close attention(like me) to the video, hahaha! No haters, most were positive. I live in Hawaii and my second home is Guam, near you and yes, the humidity is dreadful! God’s Blessings Braddah and mahalo nui again for sharing your time, enjoyed watching this again especially since I couldn’t remember watching it at all, hahaha! Aloha nui, Dankulo na Si Yu’us  Ma’ase, Salamat po!

Genuine question: Why wouldn't you power drill the smaller hole all the way through first, then "finger drill" the larger hole 2nd? The first hole would ensure that you are centered for the 2nd hole.
The other way opens up the possibility of drilling the larger hole first, then drilling the 2nd hole off-center inside the 1st hole.

Have you tried the T.J. Thompson belley reducer? I had a 12 string so far bulged I used both the reducer system and the bridge doctor. Turned out great. It also had losse braces
