Timothée Chalamet is back on his favorite set to present Josh Safdie's "Marty Supreme," for which he received an Oscar nomination.
"Marty Supreme" follows the story of a talented, arrogant, and uninhibited young table tennis player, Marty Mauser (Chalamet), as he struggles to make it in Lower Manhattan in 1952. He wants to quit his job at his family's shoe store to compete in the World Table Tennis Championships, but after a series of missteps, including a botched robbery, he runs out of money for his travels. He then embarks on a breathless and perilous odyssey to raise the necessary funds, conspiring with his pregnant (and married) girlfriend, Rachel (Odessa A'zion), while also courting a business tycoon, Milton Rockwell (Kevin O'Leary), and his wife, Kay Stone (Gwyneth Paltrow), a 1930s Hollywood star looking for a comeback.
The film hits theaters on February 18th and cements the 30-year-old star as one of the greatest actors of his generation. Give him an Oscar!

je me rappelle de son discours aux SAG awards, sur l'ambition assumé, et en tant que française ça m'a surprise au début et en même temps je trouve qu'il chope les trucs cools des deux cultures, c'était pas imbus.
Son coté US il a le coté ambition et le gros bosseur et coté frenchy l'honnêteté qui nous est souvent propre, la simplicité et les convictions, le mix fonctionne , non ?
il fait de l'ambition quelque chose de pas prétentieux mais d'authentique, non pas pour conquérir le monde mais ses rêves.
bref il est cool et quand même doué ;)
Après pourquoi une Kardashian? Il a l'air d'aimer ce qu'il fait et être sous les feux des projecteurs mais peut-être que la petite Kardashian le rend heureux? J'aime pas du tout les Kardashian mais elle a l'air d'être douce avec lui et ils ont l'air heureux ensemble et c'est le principal.
