Reason a lot of the build mechanic changes (e.g. tree platform snaps etc) are in the game is cos the S+ mod creator now works for WildCard. This is a great thing cos  it was handy not having to put down a foundation on what is essentially a foundation itself. Plus trying to get the foundation lined up on the tree platform was always a pain so I'm glad they changed that.

He should have mentioned that typing commands now has a predictive system where it will try an autofill a command you are starting to type if you are using a keyboard, its extremely useful and can help find commands without needing to search them because it includes a short description of what the command does too.

Tiny detail here but at 6:37 when the tree is knocked down, you see the titanoboa slither underneath it. I just feel like it should have hit an invisible wall or should have gone over it but the way it got past the obstacle in such a realistic manner is so satisfying

In the northern canyons of SE the waterfalls are much cooler than the surrounding area. Great PVE location. The last waterfall headed towards the sand has a neat little cave as well.

I didn't fully realize how clever the drop redesign was until you pointed it out. Like, I passively noticed but didn't really think about it.
The pillar adjustments are great. Definitely a good move hiring the person who made S+

I think its safe to say the 2 that are most happy with these changes are the Onyc and Phoenix 😅

You know.. ark should add a tracker round for the sniper rifle that does 1 dmg and can track dinos for up to 2 ingame days just by looking at the map. I think this would be a really cool addition because it stops the dinos you want to tame to despawn, and gives you time to prepare for the taming.

One major change is that it's brighter than an operating room

im gonna miss the map book :(

The primary difference is that Ark evolved doesn’t cause your PC to explode with the power of thirty suns

I at first just thought ASA was just a reskin for money but I'm really glad I watched this video

I cant lie this dude is my one stop shop for anything after not playing for 5 years I feel like a noob even tho I had 3k hrs in ASE, i know NOTHING about ASA

I can't look away, so much information. Great job!

1:32  you can also steal them with a pteranodon.

They also removed when dinos are near a trough or when they have food in there inventory they no longer have the eating animation unless you’re force feeding it.

16:36 haha, jokes on you, I only had to look the recipes up ONCE because I wrote them all down in my ARK book

Thank you for making this video. It’s been years since I played ARK and I knew when I was playing Survival Ascended there were so many changes but I just couldn’t put my finger on all of them. You were able to point out a significant amount more than most Youtubers 👍

You could make colored torches before, you just had to use the sparkler skin where now it can be done on the torch itself.

This is an awesome video!! Straight to the point with good explanation of what's changed! Keep it up!!!!

That are all awesome Game Changes in ASA! I didn´t play it yet because I dont have the time for it in the Moment but I am hyped for it now 🖤❤
