Cool to see you take this journey. You're already doing this right, but some make the mistake of burying the paddle blade too deep on every stroke as they try to increase speed. The first two or three strokes when you are going from the nose of the board high on the back of a bump to accelerating down and forward - deep slow strokes work. Then if you keep burying the blade deep trying to go faster it can be a problem. For me it stops about the time the board gets back to level and continues as I start downhill. As paddle cadence increases, just don't worry as much about burying the whole blade and even shorten the strokes. You also don't risk contacting the foil and snapping your paddle that way. Keep up the good work.
