The complementarity between Dean Martin and the pianist Ken Lane is stunning on 3:05

Dean supposddly never rehearsed, and I think that was part of the success of his show.

Kermit "Ken" Lane (December 20, 1912 – November 23, 1996) was an American musician from Brooklyn, New York. He was best known to audiences as Dean Martin's pianist on The Dean Martin Show in the late 1960s and early 1970s, but was already well known in the film community before that.

Their character is well matches, calm, and with a sense of humour. Ken Lane is fitted perfectly to Dean.(my views)
Dean's very fast, and Ken's quick enough to get the jokes.😊
Same kind of people, they're admired each other.
❤The Dean Martin Show.
