Can't really be considered Retro anymore since it's on the DS!

Anyway, Matt takes a look at Sonic Rush, the first DS outing for the blue blur. Is it good? Is it bad? You'll have to watch his latest review to find out! Also included: a large rant about why Eggman Nega is the worst thing in existence.

Due to some technical issues, he had to splice some music in instead of it coming directly from the game. Sorry bout that.

This is one of the few sonic games what actually got the whole "go fast" thing right.

My nega

Sonic and Blaze don't play exactly the same. They both go fast and spindash/fire tornado, Blaze is slower but has aerial acrobatics that allow her to reach different short cuts and skip some areas entirely by pretty much flying over them.

plus, you said that this game is good, so why have so much nega-tivety

A character can't just be "bad" they need to have negative aspects to their character that makes them uninteresting or unlikable not just... bad

I shared my opinions on Sonic Rush Adventure very briefly at the start of my Sega Superstars Tennis review. I wanted to do a full review but found I couldn't come up with much to say about it.

The reason the music sounds like Jet Set Radio is that the composer who did the music for Jet Set Radio returned to write the soundtrack for this game. The more you know.

and i found a definition of nega

denoting the negative counterpart of a unit of measurement, in particular a unit of energy saved as a result of conservation measures.

And also, eggman nega are from silver's future, probaly from the new one, is cited in mario and sonic at the olympic games.

I never had any problem with the special stage controls. In fact, they are ONLY special stage controls I ever found to function perfectly and not be frustrating.
