Always good to see Mike paired with his cool older brother who moved out but still visits, James.

Nice to see Mike, finally able to show off his 'expertise'

"Identify the Grain or Legume" would be an interesting one. There are so many common and very exotic grains out there. I doubt the boys would immediately recognize something like millet, unless someone has a pet parrot.

i do love this format. what about doing fruits or vegetables, but make them into purees so that the shape doesn't give it away.

I love how the entire video is "the taste recognition of a chef vs the brand recognition of a normal" and the interplay.

Always lovely to see James in videos.

'normal and home cook' 😭🤣 Even if it was an accident, hilarious! Love the different ways of identifying here, Mike going with what he's familiar with from snacking knowledge and James trying to narrow in on flavours he tastes

just having mike and james together on screen looks like a pokemon evolution

Mike being a crisp savant was not on my bingo card 😂

And a category that could be interesting is dumplings festival/pierogies/gyoza every culture seems to have them.

15:49 james’s “why did you GUFFAW 😰🥺” had me cackling 😂 he’s so quotable i love him so much

No, the last one Mike is absolutely spot on. It is a pumpkin crisp with chili flavor, so the flavor profile is chili, not pumpkin (like you wouldn't call potato a flavor profile for potato chips, would you?)

I feel like James might be coming for Barry's pretentious crown not knowing that's what quavers looked like and basically not knowing all the cheap crisp brands of my childhood school discos while simultaneously being able to guess oyster flavoured crisps 😅

Always so funny to see how uncommon paprika is in some countries. Where I live (and in several EU countries) paprika is the most common/OG other than regular salted chips.
